Helen Flanagan fans obsessed with 'precious' photo of her with daughter to mark International Women's Day

Helen Flanagan has tugged at the heartstrings of her fans with a “adorable” photo of herself holding her baby daughter in an Instagram post to mark International Women's Day. The 32-year-old former Coronation Street star was wearing her wedding dress in the throwback picture, in which she kissed the head of her little one Delilah.

Fans rushed to the comments to express their emotion at seeing the touching image, with the mother-daughter pair described by followers as “precious”, “adorable” and “beautiful”, the Manchester Evening News reports. Delilah, who is now four but is a baby in the picture, was dressed in a pink outfit, while Helen also shared a cute picture of her eldest daughter Matilda, now seven, wearing a veil as she dressed up as her mum.

The star also shares son Charlie – who turns two this month – with footballer Scott Sinclair, who she reportedly split from last October. She captioned the photo: “Happy International Women’s Day. Here’s to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.”

In the comments, Gillian described the pictures as “absolutely precious”, while Kay said they were “beautiful”, Sue thought they were “adorable”, and Amy declared the snaps were “too cute”. Asher wrote: “Oh Helen, you look divine and so does your daughter.”

Vick said: “What a beautiful dress you chose! Blessings to you and your wee ones.” And Kelly added: “U look beautiful. Happy women's day to u too, love that dress you're wearing.”

Adele put: “Beautiful photos, happy international women's day.” And Sharon said: “You look beautiful.”

It comes as the mum-of-three opened up about how hard it can be being a mother. In an Instagram story on Wednesday (Mar 8), she posted a picture of herself looking tired.

She captioned it: “I find being a mum hard. I feel tired most of the time and like I have to split myself into three. But I just love them so much, would never change it for the world and I just give them all I've got every day.”

Helen has also opened up about suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum during pregnancy, a complication which leads to excessive nausea and vomiting. She said it was “horrendous” and often reduced her to tears.

Responding to a fan who asked for advice with the condition, she wrote: “Hyperemesis is awful. I am so sorry you're going through that. I took medication twice with Delilah and Charlie.

“I had hyperemesis every time and in each pregnancy it got so much worse. I was horrendous with Charlie and cried all the time, I moved back to my parents.”

The star has previously spoken about how the condition changed her body and she ended up decided to have a boob job after losing a lot of weight. She explained: “It's just something that I did for myself, I really wanted to do it for my confidence. I have been really nervous about sharing this.

“Obviously I very much am for body confidence, and very much for supporting other women, but supporting women in all choices that they decide to do. I think if something really is bothering you, then I think, you know, it's a good thing to do something about it.”

She added: “When I first had Matilda, my boobs were fine. In fact, they went smaller, which I really liked,” she said. “I think my frame changed, having children. I've always been slim and small but I kind of lost quite a lot of weight from having children.

“I always had hyperemesis when I was pregnant and I just lost weight with my kids. I think I went down to maybe about a C cup after breastfeeding Matilda from being like a natural E cup to a C cup and I just kind of felt like it really suited my frame.

“I didn't feel like I needed a boob job after pregnancy with Matilda and feeding Matilda. And then when I fell pregnant with Delilah, obviously through pregnancy, I felt totally confident. And I breastfed Delilah for 13 months. And I really, really, really, really, really noticed the difference."
