Helen Flanagan enjoys 'amazing night' as she ditches engagement ring amid Scott Sinclair 'split'

Helen Flanagan appeared to ditch her engagement ring as she enjoyed a night on the red carpet amid reports she's split from fiancé ex-Celtic player Scott Sinclair.

The former Corrie actress gushed about her 'amazing night' at the Pride of Britain awards on Monday as she posted a video of her glam red outfit on Instagram.

The mum-of-three, 32, looked sensational as she stunned on the red carpet event in London in a strapless mini-dress - but didn't appear to pair the outfit with her diamond engagement ring.

Helen also took to her Instagram stories to share a mirror selfie in a lift without the ring just hours after reports the actress and Bristol Rovers footballer Scott, 33, have gone their separate ways after 13 years together.

As she walked the red carpet and posed for pictures outside at the Grosvenor House in London, Helen's huge diamond rock was seemingly nowhere to be seen as the former soap star kept her left hand out of shot and hidden behind her back at times.

Helen's solo appearance at the Pride of Britain awards comes following the star reportedly ditching her engagement ring to party at the National Television Awards earlier this month.

Scott and Helen have three children together – Matilda, seven, Delilah, four, and son Charlie, one – and first started dating in 2009, with the footballer popping the question in 2018.

An insider claims the couple "hit a rough patch in the summer" and Helen has already told her close friends and family that she is "no longer with Scott".

"Helen has removed her engagement ring and told those close to her that she is no longer with Scott," they said.

"They hit a rough patch in the summer and after Helen came back from South Africa it ended for good," they added to The Sun.

"Helen and Scott have committed to co-parenting their kids as a family unit."

The Pride of Britain awards returns for yet another year to celebrate the nation's everyday heroes and their bravery.

The annual awards, which have taken place since 1999 in association with The Prince’s Trust, is considered one of the most heartwarming and emotional nights of the year.

Every year, several well-known faces from celebrities, politicians and sports icons come together to celebrate the bravery and selflessness of the winners.

Carol Vorderman and Ashley Banjo have returned to co-host the star-studded event at London’s Grosvenor House, with the former Countdown presenter stunning in an upcycled dress on the red carpet earlier this evening.
