Helen Flanagan has cancelled her holiday to Ibiza over the new quarantine rule requiring travellers arriving from Spain to self-isolate for 14 days.
The Coronation Street actress was looking forward to a sunshine break, but decided to cancel.
The mother of two said on Sunday: "I should have been flying to Ibiza this morning but obviously with the new quarantine rule we cancelled our flights."
She added in her Instagram Stories post: "I really do feel for people who are in Spain at the moment."
Helen, who is celebrating her 30th birthday next month, then mused about her change of outlook because of the COVID-19 crisis.
"I just feel I want to stay at home," she said, joking that she sounded like 'a granny.'
"I feel like we could go on holiday but I'm worried about the lockdown rules."
Helen from Bury, who plays Rosie Webster in Corrie, says the pandemic also put an end to her original birthday plans to go to New York and to do an acting course.
"I still don't know what to do," said the soap star.
"All my close friends all live not together so everybody is from everywhere.
"I feel confused about the virus. I don't want to spread the virus.
"2020 is just like ... I don't know what to do.
"I don't want it to come and then I've done nothing."
Helen is engaged to Preston North End footballer Scott Sinclair and they have two daughters Matilda, five, and Delilah, two.
