Helen Flanagan admits being 'snappy' with kids after 'wrecking' house ahead of Christmas

Helen Flanagan told fans she 'snapped' at her daughters today after 'wrecking' her house ahead of Christmas.

The former Coronation Street star took to her Instagram stories to share the story with fans, as she expressed regret over losing her temper with her children. Helen, 32, appeared to be lying down on her bed as she addressed her one million Instagram followers to discuss her children.

She captioned the video: "Spent ages getting the house beautiful for Christmas and they just wreck it," alongside a laughing emoji.

In the video, Helen said: "So I'm just gonna wake Charlie up from his nap. I feel quite bad because I've been a bit snappy this morning with the girls, which I didn't want to be I wanted to be all Christmassy but they've not stopped arguing.

"Just chucking things, chucking footballs around the house and they just break things.

"But I've got a really big surprise for Matilda today. I'm really excited about it for her."

This comes after Helen's shock split from former Celtic player Scott Sinclair earlier this year. The actress stunned fans after arriving at the National Television Awards in October without her engagement ring, hinting she was now single.

The couple had been together for 13 years and had reportedly set the date for a 2024 wedding day before calling it quits. However, the couple are now set on co-parenting their three children and are planning a reunion over the festive period.

Despite ending their romance, the couple are reportedly set to reunite for Christmas for the sake of their children.

A source told The Sun the former couple plan to come together for the children's sake, but there would be no chance they would rekindle their relationship on a romantic level. A source said: “Helen’s sole focus is the three children she shares with Scott and they want to make this Christmas as ‘normal’ as possible.

“Scott is a professional footballer so often he won’t be around on Christmas day because of his fixtures list, however Helen and Scott are planning something special for the children.

"Although they’re no longer together they will work together to make it magical for the kids. Helen is not open to talk of reconciliation and she just wants them to focus on being co-parents.”
