Helder Costa and Stuart Dallas dropped - Leeds United line-up for Luton Town selected by fans

Stuart Dallas and Helder Costa would be dropped by Marcelo Bielsa if Leeds United fans had their way in the trip to Luton Town.

The majority of responses to LeedsLive’s starting XI poll have called for Barry Douglas and Pablo Hernandez to be restored to the line-up.

Dallas is an ever-present in the Championship under Bielsa this season after a barnstorming start to the campaign at right-back, but some may have felt him fade as a central midfielder or left-back in recent times.

Costa, on the other hand, has started every game since Hernandez was struck down with injury following the Derby County draw.

While the Portuguese has not always set the world alight since his introduction, there have been signs of improvement.

Douglas has not started a league game since August 17’s win at Wigan Athletic while Hernandez has been missing from the starting XI since September 21.

Elsewhere, fans would take a risk with captain Liam Cooper, who Bielsa said needed a late test after returning to training, at centre-back.
