Heinz has added sauces to its new online shop for self-isolators in the UK

Heinz has announced that it is adding a bundle featuring the nation's favourite sauces to its first-ever online shop.

The food brand recently launched "Heinz to Home" to help feed self-isolating customers across the UK amid the coronavirus outbreak.

It previously only offered a 16-tin bundle made up of baked beans, spaghetti hoops and cream of tomato soup for £10.

But after hundreds of requests on social media, Heinz is now also offering a sauces selection with one of each of its most popular sauces.

These include Heinz Tomato Ketchup, Heinz Salad Cream, Heinz Seriously Good Mayonnaise, Heinz Classic Barbecue sauce and Heinz Saucy Sauce.

The package costs £10 plus £3.50 for postage and packaging. Eager customers can buy it online at heinztohome.co.uk from today (April 24), and they will receive their order within three days.

Heinz said it will be expanding the range to include some of its baby food, which is made with natural ingredients.

The food giant is also working with the Blue Light Card, a discount service for the NHS, emergency services, social care workers and Armed Forces. Members can access the Heinz offer code via their account to receive free postage and priority shipping on all orders.

Jojo de Noronha, President of Kraft Heinz Northern Europe, said: "We’ve had a great response to the launch of Heinz to Home. Whilst we continue to serve our beloved consumers, we have also continued to listen to them and it was clear from their feedback on social media that there was a real desire for us to launch some of our much-loved sauces too.

"While we continue to work hard to get our most loved Heinz varieties onto shelves of supermarkets and shops across the country, we hope this new initiative will help those who cannot leave their home and are struggling to shop."

Pret has announced its freshly prepared food and organic coffees are now available for delivery through Just Eat.

Customers will be able to order from 8am to 2pm, with no minimum spend and a delivery fee of £3.
