Heineken Cup entertainment in Newcastle - where are the smaller fan zones and what else is happening?

As the Champions Rugby Village - the main fan zone for the upcoming European Rugby Finals - gets ready to launch on Newcastle quayside, similar work has been under way on other pop-ups for visitors.

Smaller fan zones will be dotted around the city and on Gateshead quayside plans have been taking shape to host a celebration in Baltic Square, organised by Northern Pride but officially part of the Champions Village.

And the new pop-ups will have plenty on offer to entertain all ages and tastes over May 10-11, with action kicking off even earlier in many cases..

Aside from our guide to the Champions Rugby Village and celebrations around the Heineken Champions Cup at St James' Park , we've drawn together a guide to other action hots-spots where visitors who aren't lucky enough to have a ticket to the matches can share all the on and off-pitch entertainment.
