Heineken Champions Cup draw: Munster handed tough pool with defending champions Saracens

Munster have been drawn with defending champions Saracens in the pool stages of the Heineken Champions Cup.

Johann van Graan's side will also take on Simon Zebo and Donnacha Ryan's Racing 92 with Ospreys completing Pool 4.

Leinster appear to have got a more favourable draw against French side Lyon, Premiership outfit Northampton Saints and fellow PRO14 team Benetton.

Ulster will face Top 14 runners-up Clermont Auvergne and English clubs Harlequins and Bath.

And Connacht have been drawn with French sides Toulouse and Montpellier along with Gloucester.

Ronan O'Gara's La Rochelle have been paired with Premiership runners-up Exeter Chiefs, Glasgow Warriors and Sale Sharks.

Elsewhere in the Challenge Cup, London Irish, who will have Sean O'Brien and Paddy Jackson in their ranks next season, were drawn with Scarlets, Toulon and Bayonne.
