Heineken Champions Cup 2019 kick off time, tickets and TV broadcast details

St James' Park is set to be packed by rugby fans this weekend when Ireland's Leinster take on London Saracens in the Heineken Champions Cup Final.

Thousands of fans are set to descend on Newcastle from Ireland and London to watch the final on Saturday evening.

Although Newcastle is considered to be a football hotbed, the city is no stranger to a rugby party, having hosted Super League's Magic Weekend three years on the trot, and Rugby Union World Cup matches in 2015.

Those who are not heading to Newcastle for the match, or who are not buying tickets, can still watch the game on TV. It will be broadcast on both subscription and free-to-air channels.

What time does the Heineken Champions Cup Final kick off?

Leinster v Saracens will kick off at St James' Park at 5pm on Saturday, May 11.

Fans heading to the match are advised to give themselves plenty of time to get into the stadium, as security will be carrying out searches at the entrance and inside the ground.

Are there Heineken Champions Cup Final tickets on sale?

Yes, a limited number of remaining tickets went on general sale on Friday.

As of Wednesday, May 8, a few hundred were still available, according to Newcastle United's box office .

Prices range from £45 for adults in the Level 7 corner, to £60 in the Gallowgate upper tier or Leazes middle tiers.

Kids tickets are available for £25.

Is the Heineken Champions Cup Final on TV?

Subscription and free to air broadcasters are showing the Heineken Cup Final in both the UK and Republic of Ireland.

Fans in both countries can watch the final live from St James' Park on BT Sport (available through Eir Sport in ROI) and on Channel 4 .

BT Sport's coverage starts at 4pm, with a 5pm kick-off time.

Channel 4 will be broadcasting from 4.30pm.
