Heidi Range has much to celebrate after welcoming her second child into the world.
The former Sugababes star gave birth to her and her husband Alex Partakis' daughter on August 5, and have decided to call the little one Athena Veronica Partakis.
The baby was born at 9.05pm on Thursday August 5 and weighed 6lb 1oz.
Sharing the couple's happy news, Heidi uploaded a string of photos of her newborn, as well as one of her cradling her baby.
Alongside a pink heart emoji, she wrote: "She’s here!!!
"We are delighted to introduce you to our little bundle of joy: Athena Veronica Partakis.
"Born at 9.05pm, August 5th 2021, 6lb 1oz of pure love X"
Heidi announced earlier this year that she was expecting a baby girl in August.
She told Hello! magazine : "We're both over the moon. Aurelia has been asking for a brother or sister every day."
The couple were very nervous ahead of expecting their second child because they had struggled with two devastating miscarriages since the arrival of Aurelia, now three.
The singer added: "When I was pregnant with Aurelia, it was a case of ignorance is bliss - I just assumed everything would be fine and it was. But because I’ve had two losses since her, it was quite a nerve-wracking time until I had the scans."
And speaking ahead of the birth, Heidi admitted she is glad her daughter will have a younger sister as she is incredibly close to her own sibling Hayley.
"If we can give Aurelia what Hayley and I have, then that’s the best gift in the world. I’m so excited for her that she is going to have that – but Alex is slightly concerned about the amount of hormones that are going to be in the house!" she shared.
Aurelia weighed similar to Athena when she was born.
"Aurelia Honey Partakis was born on 21/01/18. 6lb 2oz of pure joy!," Heidi wrote at the time of Aurelia's birth.
"Daddy and I are floating on Cloud 9 and falling more in love with her by the minute.
"Welcome to the world my sweetheart."
Heidi hoped she would "fall pregnant straight away" after she married Alex, and that's what happened for the couple.
"It has been a bit year for us. Our wedding was amazing and then I had hoped I would fall pregnant straight away," she said at the time.
"It was like it was meant to be. It was so special that it happened in our first family house together. It's made our home have this lovely feeling about it."
