It was a night to remember for Hector Bellerin.
The full-back made his first start of the season for Arsenal in the 4-0 victory over Standard Liege in the Europa League.
It's been a long road back to action for the defender who has been working away behind the scenes with month of rehabilitation to get to the point where he's able to get through 90 minutes.
But that wasn't the only reason the evening was special as the Spaniard was handed the captain's armband for the occasion as well.
Bellerin has been named as one of Unai Emery's five captains for the upcoming season, and this was the first time that he's been in a position to take the armband.
The others captains are Granit Xhaka, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Mesut Ozil - and as none of them started the game it was only right that the 24-year-old took the captaincy.
It was clearly an emotional night for Bellerin who took to social media after the game to share his pride.
He said: 'Such an honour to captain this club!'
Bellerin is certainly a popular figure among the Arsenal fans, and the hope will be that they'll be seeing plenty more of him in an Arsenal shirt this season - and maybe even with the armband.
