Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin has made clear his excitement over the signing of Dani Ceballos on loan from Real Madrid.
In a message posted to his social media accounts to welcome the Spaniard to the club, the defender attached a picture of the pair on international duty together.
The 24-year-old, who joined the Gunners from Barcelona in 2011, is already friends with the former Real Betis midfielder, and is set to be an important figure for the loan signing as he seeks to settle quickly for the new season.
Speaking in his first interview with the club's official website, Ceballos namechecked Bellerin as one of the reasons he had agreed to move to the Emirates Stadium this summer.
"I get on really well with Hector away from football, on a personal level," he said.
"I told him I was thinking of joining and he told me not to think twice because this is a great city and a great club and that I was going to have a great time.
"I can’t wait to see him and say thanks for his help in getting me here."
On his official Twitter account, Bellerin said: "Can't wait for the link up. Welcome brother!"
Ceballos has already enjoyed a successful summer with Spain, helping his country to lift the Under-21 European Championship.
