Hector Bellerin's agent makes transfer admission to worry Arsenal and Unai Emery

Hector Bellerin is attracting interest from an unnamed club in Italy.

That's according to the Arsenal defender's agent, Alberto Botines, who has said that he can't reveal the club in question.

The Spaniard has only just returned to full fitness following a long injury layoff with a serious knee injury sustained against Chelsea in January which kept him out of action for eight months.

Regarded as a key player for the Gunners in years to come, Bellerin has certainly made the right-back spot his own ever since breaking into the first-team under Arsene Wenger in the 2014/2015 season.

He did endure a dip in form, but was showing signs of getting back to his best under Unai Emery prior to the injury setback.

And it would appear that one Serie A club is keeping close tabs on Bellerin's situation at the Emirates Stadium, as confirmed by his representative.

"At the moment, he’s focused on the team's commitments," Botines told Sky Sport Italia. "He comes from a bad injury and is returning to his usual level. He likes Italy, there’s already been interest from an Italian club but I can't reveal it.

"He has a long contract and it won’t be easy to take him away from Arsenal, he's their vice-captain.

"We'll see how the season goes."

As mentioned by Botines, Bellerin signed a new deal with the north London outfit in 2016 which means he's contracted until 2023.

That would put the Gunners in a strong negotiation position should they decide to cash in on the 24-year-old.

With that said, it does seem that Bellerin will be at Arsenal for a while yet.

He has captained the side on a number of occasions this season and has been upgraded to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's understudy following Emery's decision to take the armband away from Granit Xhaka.
