Hector Bellerin makes decision on his Arsenal future as PSG reignite transfer interest

French heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain are poised to revive their interest in Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin this summer.

That is according to a report by CBS Sports, who claim the Spaniard is keen to test himself outside of the Premier League.

As revealed by football.london last summer, Bellerin was at crossroads in regards to his future at the Emirates Stadium, questioning whether or not he wanted to be part of Mikel Arteta's long-term plans in north London.

The Spaniard, however, elected to stay with the Gunners and has proven to be a regular fixture in Arteta's plans this season, racking up 27 appearances in all competitions.

But despite that, Bellerin is keen to leave Arsenal and test himself elsewhere, meaning PSG are ready to reignite their interest in the 25-year-old.

The French club are not alone in eyeing up a potential move for the right-back, as Barcelona and at least two Serie A clubs also monitoring the situation.

PSG were very keen to sign the defender last summer but saw an offer rejected by the Gunners, with the north London outfit not willing to entertain their offer, demanding a figure closer to around the £35million mark.

Although Bellerin has been a loyal servant to the Gunners and has played his part this season, the defender is keen to try and add trophies to his personal collection, opposed to continuing to be part of Arteta's rebuilding process at the Emirates Stadium, which is looking as though it could take several seasons until the Spaniard has the club where he would like it to be.

Admittedly, the Gunners are still in theEuropa League this season, but they have not enjoyed much success domestically, crashing out of both the Carabao Cup and FA Cup, as well as struggling to get anywhere close to the top four in the Premier League.

With that in mind, it is easy to understand why the right-back would be open to the idea of joining one of European football's elite clubs, such as PSG or Barcelona.

Bellerin, of course, joined Arsenal from Barcelona back in 2011 and has helped the club win three FA Cup crowns and the FA Community Shield on three separate occasions. In total, he has made 231 appearances for the club, scoring nine goals.
