It was a torrid day at the office for Arsenal, and for one man in particular.
While the 2-2 draw was disappointing in itself, it was the situation surrounding Granit Xhaka which stole the headlines.
The Gunners' skipper has a fractured relationship with the Arsenal fans and it things came to a head in some unsavoury scenes at the Emirates Stadium.
Xhaka was booed when he was taken off by Unai Emery and it seemed that the barrage of criticism got too much for the Swiss midfielder as he gestured to supporters and appeared to mutter the words 'f*** off' to himself as he made his way from the pitch.
This only riled the home supporters more with many now fearing the lack of unity between fans and players.
Unai Emery admitted that Xhaka was wrong in how he dealt with things, but popular full-back had a different message as he urged unity within th club as they look to move forward.
The Gunners sit fifth in the Premier League table and Bellerin says that it's important that the fans and players stick together if they're going to achieve anything.
He said: "We are all humans, we all have emotions, and sometimes it's not easy dealing with them.
"It's time to lift each other up, not to push each other away. We only win when we are together."
