- A crew member died after falling overboard from the cruise ship Hebridean Princess in Scotland .
- The incident occurred last Tuesday, 16 June, while the ship was travelling through the Sound of Mull.
- Police Scotland confirmed it received reports of a man’s body having been found in the water near Corran Esplanade in Oban at approximately 8.30pm.
- Hebridean Island Cruises, which operates the vessel, said an “immediate response” was initiated on board and HM Coastguard was notified.
- A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “His death is not being treated as suspicious, and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
