A man has been taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries after his vehicle was involved in a crash with a bus at Highfields on Wednesday morning.
Police and emergency services were called to the scene around 10.50am where they found the man's car resting on its roof. The road was quickly closed, and emergency services set about tending to the occupants of the vehicles.
NSW Ambulance paramedics found all occupants were out of their vehicles when they arrived, a spokesperson said. They then took one man to hospital for further treatment.
The road was closed for around 30 minutes, but a police spokesperson said it had re-opened around 11.30am. Traffic is flowing again, and the bus has been removed from the roadway, but drivers have been urged to take care in the area.
Traffic remains heavy at the intersection of Kahibah Road and the Pacific Highway at Highfields and emergency services remain on the scene.
