Foreboding grey skies and heavy rain will be the norm across Merseyside as the region is pelted with 12 hours of rain.
The non-stop downpour will last until around 6pm on Thursday (April 25).
The rain will also cause chillier temperatures with a high of just 15C today.

Cool, wet and windy on Saturday with gales and spells of heavy rain, with a high of just 10C.
It should be drier and brighter on Sunday, although still with a few showers possible.
