A heavy police presence has descended on a Kilmarnock estate tonight.
Numerous cop cars and one van are currently swarming the streets of New Farm Loch.
Residents have reported at least six different police vehicles in Barclay Drive and Macbeth Drive from just before 10pm.
Officers could also be seen carrying out enquiries at a door just after 11pm.
Reports have emerged of an ongoing serious incident but Ayrshire Live understands that there is no ongoing incident and there is no threat to the wider public.
