
A massive replica of the Tokyo Olympic gold medal is seen at the Nihombashi Mitsui Tower in Chuo Ward, Tokyo. The medal is 2.5 meters in diameter and 16 meters tall, including the ribbon. The art piece is part of the Olympic Foundation for Culture and Heritage's cultural program called "Olympic Agora," which runs through Aug. 15. During the program's run, works from renowned artists are also displayed in the area, and "The Olympic Spirit -- Exhibition" showcases real medals and torches from the Olympic Museum in Switzerland.
