Motorists are facing long delays and heavy traffic heading into Sydney, as travellers return home from the long weekend.
There were heavy delays on the Hume Highway for a 50-kilometre stretch from Mittagong to Campbelltown at 6.30pm Monday.
Drivers were advised their trip would take an extra half-hour.
Just before 6pm, a motorcyclist came off her bike on the highway at Marulan.
A NSW Police spokeswoman said the female driver and her male passenger only suffered minor injuries and the crash hadn't forced police to close lanes.
The Live Traffic website reported heavy delays in that area, with northbound motorists in queues up to five kilometres long.
Earlier on Monday, a multi-vehicle crash on the Hume Highway at Mount Annan also caused significant delays.
By mid-afternoon that crash had been cleared, but traffic was heavy from Yanderra to Menangle for several hours.
The NSW Transport Management Centre said drivers needed to allow plenty of extra time to get home.
"Motorists heading home after the Easter long weekend are advised to plan ahead and allow plenty of extra travel time, with heavy holiday traffic on major roads returning to Sydney and in some regional areas," it said in a statement.
