Heavily pregnant Scot missing from Fife for days as police launch urgent search

Police have launched a second appeal for a heavily pregnant woman who went missing in Fife.

Kirstie Allen, who is currently 34 weeks pregnant, has not been seen for days and officers from Police Scotland are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

Kirstie is originally from the north-west of England and has stayed in the Fife area for the last 18 months.

She stays in the Windygates and Levenmouth but it is believed she could be in the Kirkcaldy area in the Links Street or town centre areas.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have information about her whereabouts to get in touch.

A statement from Police Scotland read: "If anyone has any information as to the whereabouts of Kirstie, please contact Police Scotland as soon as possible on 101, quoting reference 2305 of 24th August."
