MIAMI _ It was business as usual for the Miami Heat on Friday at 601 Biscayne.
Enter one of the NBA's teams in the bottom of the standings (and in this case, the team at the bottom of the standings). Insert a 20-point Heat lead that has become commonplace in AmericanAirlines Arena.
What followed was the lesser team cutting into the Heat's lead in the middle two quarters before Miami regrouped and blasted the Golden State Warriors in final period to take home a 122-105 victory.
The Heat's win put them at 8-0 at home so far, their best start at home since starting 8-0 in the 2012-13 Big Three championship season. They're also 10-0 against teams that have a losing record.
Goran Dragic led the team in points with a game-high 20 on 9-of-13 shooting off the bench. Jimmy Butler recorded 16 points, six assists, five rebounds and two steals.
Duncan Robinson (17 points) and Tyler Herro (19 points) combined for 36 points on 83% shooting from beyond the arc while Kelly Olynyk chipped in 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting. The Heat shot over 50% from the field (53.7%) and on three-pointers (52%).
Jordan Poole led the Warriors with 20 points off the bench.
