In their typical everyone contributes approach, the Heat got 20 points from Jimmy Butler, 17 from Tyler Herro, 15 from Goran Dragic and double-doubles from Bam Adebayo (18 points, 12 rebounds) and Meyers Leonard (11 points, 10 rebounds).
Gobert closed with 18 points, 19 rebounds and 5 blocked shots.
The Heat led 32-28 at the end of the first quarter and 53-52 at halftime, before falling behind 81-76 entering the fourth quarter.
Then came the fourth-quarter takeover that featured nine points from Herro.
