Heartwarming video captures family reconnecting for Christmas while 5,000km away

This heart-warming video shows the moment an Irish family are connected with their son who lives more than 5,000km away.

Paul Mooney has been in the United States for almost a decade, but due to his wife’s pregnancy, they can’t fly to Ireland for Christmas this year.

But the Limerick man has been able to spend some time with his family thanks The Connected Restaurant Experience, powered by Three.

Diners at The Connected Restaurant were treated to an experience filled with surprises, sprinkled with some Christmas magic as they
dined on an exclusively curated festive menu.

This year Paul and wife Tara are expecting their second child, meaning the connected experience was all the more special.

They relished the opportunity to share Christmas dinner with his
parents, as Paul’s father, Donie, has been suffering from a rare form of bone marrow cancer.

Paul said: “He’s a marvellous man, and I miss him. I miss the two of them”.
