Heartwarming update after adorable dog rescued from house fire

Dublin Fire Brigade have given people an uplifting update after saving a little dog from a house fire on Monday.

The baby terrier was rescued by brave firefighters after a dangerous blaze began at his home.

Jessie the dog was unconscious when he was found in his home and was quickly given oxygen on the scene.

He was then rushed to a local vet who got the friendly pup back fighting fit.

His owner was out at the time of the fire and no other injuries were reported.

Thankfully, Jessie has made a full recovery and is chilling out at home after his ordeal.

Dublin Fire Brigade shared pictures of their new friend looking cosy.

They tweeted: "On Monday, firefighters rescued Jessie when a fire broke out in his home. Unconscious, he was given oxygen on scene and transport was arranged to a local vet for further care.

"We are delighted to hear that Jessie is as good as new, none the worse for his experience."

People took to Twitter to wish Jessie well and to thank the firefighters for their service.

One person said: "Well done lads, great to see Jessie doing well."

Another said: "Heroes all of you."

A third follower wrote: "Now this is the sort of story to warm your Monday morning."
