In a very 'love conquers all' moment, an Edinburgh couple have been caught on camera getting wed on the city's Royal Mile this afternoon by none other than Ian Rankin.
The legendary Edinburgh crime author has been tweeting pictures from his walks around the capital and in today's fourth instalment wrote: "Edinburgh Walk 4. Lovely to stumble across a wedding".
The photo shows a couple wearing blue PPE masks whilst posing next to a decorated car on the Royal Mile, having just been wed.
Locals have left their thoughts on the image, with one writing: "Unfashionable view incoming but love conquers, love prevails."
