Heartwarming moment Welsh rugby team-mates get behind player floored by prop in training

A heartwarming moment was captured in a Llandeilo RFC under-14s training session as one player's team-mates got behind him after he was floored with the tackle pad.

Titled 'when tackling practice doesn't go to plan', the video starts out with Ioan Rees lining up for the next tackle in the drill. He is affectionately nicknamed 'Giggles' by the boys. This is because he is "always laughing", says coach Chris Rooke.

Giggles' team-mate gives him a "go on" and a pat on the back as he lines up the tackle. Unfortunately it doesn't go to plan as prop Cellan Bunford, who is holding the pad, bumps him off onto his back. Quite ironically all the other boys start laughing as Giggles rolls over, "No way!"

The next part of the video is titled, 'But you don't give up'. Little Ioan comically beats his chest and flexes his arms as he prepares for the next tackle. He drives into Cellan low and hard, pushing him back and eventually toppling the front-rower as the boys cheer and applaud.

Ioan gets up and points a finger at Cellan as the pair share a laugh together.

You can watch a clip of the incident below.

Llandeilo Youth player Owain James was taking the session with the boys, to help complete some A-Level coursework, you can see him the foreground of the video. Coach 'Rookie' says that prop Cellan is used to "running through people", hence his bump off!

Viewers were loving Rees' nickname.

"His name is Giggles, what a name!" said one.
