Heartwarming moment two Labradors stolen outside M&S are reunited with their owners

Two Labradors which were stolen from outside a Marks & Spencer store have been reunited with their owners.

The owners of the black Labradors were left 'deeply upset' after their pets were stolen from outside the shop in Nantwich, Cheshire on Saturday night.

Police released CCTV footage of two men running off with the dogs in a bid to help track them down.

Today (Tuesday), Nantwich Police said the dogs had been found at a house in Stoke-on-Trent.

They have been reunited with their 'hugely relieved' owners and are back home.

Three people who were at the property in Stoke have been arrested.

A man, woman and boy, 14, have all been arrested on suspicion of theft and will be questioned in custody.

The force tweeted a heartwarming photo of the Labradors being reunited with their owners.

The owners - and the dogs - look delighted to be back together again.

Alongside the tweet, an officer wrote: "We are delighted to say we have recovered the two dogs that were stolen from outside a Marks & Spencer store in Nantwich on Saturday.

"The Labradors were found at an address in Stoke-on-Trent this morning.

"As you can see, they have been returned to their hugely relieved owners.

"Three people who were at the address in Stoke – a man, a woman and a 14-year-old boy – have all been arrested on suspicion of theft in relation to the incident.

"They are currently on their way to custody to be questioned as part of our ongoing investigation into the dog thefts."
