Seraphine is getting a new reason to sing in League of Legends Patch 26.17, with the developers sending 100 percent of its proceeds from the upcoming Heartsong Seraphine skin to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund.
The Heartsong Seraphine will be available from Aug. 26 to Sept. 23. The fundraiser will therefore give League players a chance to pick up a new Seraphine cosmetic while contributing to Riot’s wider philanthropic efforts.
The developer says 100 percent of its proceeds from the skin will go toward the Social Impact Fund. That does not mean 100% of the skin’s retail price is being donated, but rather that Riot’s proceeds from the campaign will be directed toward the fund, with the additional 2x match increasing the contribution.
The Social Impact Fund has been a major part of Riot’s charitable efforts since the company introduced it in 2019. The developer describes the fund as a separate entity from the developer that allows it to make direct investments in organizations around the world through its partnership with ImpactAssets. The structure is designed to make supporting international nonprofits easier and allow funding to reach communities across different regions.
The developer also gives its players a say in where some of the money goes through initiatives such as its annual charity voting campaigns. The scale of those efforts has grown considerably since the fund was established. Riot says that, together with its players, it has now raised $74.5 million and supported 450 organizations across 28 regions.
League skins have played a particularly important role in building that total. One of the fund’s biggest early campaigns centered around Dawnbringer Karma, which became the game’s 1,000th skin and raised $6 million for charity. The developer later expanded its fundraising model across its other games, including VALORANT‘s Give Back Bundle.
Riot has also used its games to respond to humanitarian crises. Its recent natural disaster relief campaign raised more than $3 million for the Social Impact Fund, with the money distributed to nine organizations working on disaster recovery.
The fund’s work has continued beyond individual skin campaigns, too. In 2025, Riot’s charity voting campaign allocated more than $5 million to 87 nonprofits, with players helping determine which organizations would receive funding.
Heartsong Seraphine now becomes the latest League cosmetic tied to that wider initiative. The timing also mean that the skin will arrive as the 13th cosmetic for the champion after T1’s Worlds 2025 skin, giving Seraphine mains another cosmetic to add to her collection.
