Hearts youngster Scott McGill has joined Airdrie on loan until January.
The 19-year-old midfielder will provide strong competition for a starting midfield place at the Diamonds.
McGill made his Jambos debut in the League Cup win over Cowdenbeath in October 2020.
The highly-regarded youngster has featured three times in total for the Tynecastle side but he's fallen down the pecking order after the emergence of Finlay Pollok.
Airdrie boss Ian Murray has been keen to strengthen in midfield after a host of injuries and McGill will likely be part of the squad for the Premier Sports Cup clash against Queen of the South on Saturday.
