Hearts will play Cambridge Utd in a pre-season friendly match as part of the English club’s Scottish tour.
The match will be a closed door fixture however, scheduled for Saturday 20 July and kicking off at 1pm with selected media in attendance reports Cambridgeshire Live .
The Us could face a reunion with former striker Uche Ikpeazu . The ex-Reading forward moved to Tynecastle from Cambrigde last summer.
Ikpeazu has proved something of a cult hero amongst Hearts fans, his often unplayable physique and strength combined with a relentless work rate have made him a popular figure amongst supporters.
The opening goal in the Scottish Cup semi-final win over Inverness at Hampden and a late equaliser in a 1-1 Edinburgh derby draw against Hibs at Easter Road only endeared him further to fans.
After missing five months of the season due to a broken foot, ikpeazu returned to action in the new year before signing a two-year extension to the deal he initially signed when he made the move north.
Cambridge will also face a Rangers XI when they travel to Scotland.
