Hearts v Raith Rovers moved for Scottish Cup Final as clubs face double-header

Hearts will face Raith Rovers twice in three days after their December fixture was moved until January 26.

The game was due to take place in Kirkcaldy on December 19, but was moved due to the club’s involvement in the Scottish Cup Final a day later.

Robbie Neilson’s men will take on Celtic in the Hampden showdown for the second year in a row and hope to win their first major trophy since 2012.

It means Hearts had to miss the game against Raith Rovers in the Championship and adds an extra fixture into January.

It means Hearts will now play five times across the first month of 2021 with three away ties involved in that.

That includes a return to Alloa where they were beaten in the Betfred Cup last weekend.

It also means they take on Rovers twice, with a game at Tynecastle on Saturday, January 23 before the trip to Starks Park on Tuesday, January 26.
