Hearts v Hibs: How should Robbie Neilson line up in Scottish Cup semi-final clash at Hampden?

Robbie Neilson is facing his most important Hearts team selection as he aims to field the XI that gets them through to the Scottish Cup final.

Width has been the name of the game so far with the Tynecastle side boasting a 100 per cent record in all five of their Betfred Cup and League fixtures to date.

Hibs pose their biggest challenge of the campaign so far though, and as another team based on width, but with a recognised strike partnership, it will be intriguing to see how each lines up to try and best the other.

Neilson has minimal injury problems, with Christophe Berra the only confirmed absentee, although Josh Ginnelly remains a major doubt after injuring his thigh in last Friday’s 1-0 win over Abrrboath.

Jordan Roberts and Jamie Walker are expected to be fine while Steven Naismith and Peter Haring are fit but still a bit short of match sharpness.

Craig Gordon is a guaranteed starter and the back four will likely pick itself, while up front Neilson could be tempted to pair Liam Boyce with the in-form Craig Wighton, who leads the Jambos’ scoring charts with four goals in five games.
