Hearts team v Celtic predicted as Jambos look to continue impressive winning run in Premier Sports Cup clash

It's been an excellent start to the season for Hearts who will be reluctant to change a winning formula this weekend.

The Jambos clash with Celtic for the second time in as many weeks in tomorrow's Premier Sports tie, hoping for a repeat of their 2-1 win in the Scottish Premiership opener.

St Mirren fell victim to the same scoreline a week later, but a trip to Glasgow will be a completely different challenge for Robbie Neilson's men.

The Tynecastle boss changed from a 3-4-3 into a 3-5-2 mid-game against the Hoops. And it paid off as John Souttar 's header snatched all three points for the home side.

This showed a flexibility in the newly-promoted side that could be very dangerous this season, particularly in the bigger games.

Hearts are yet to concede a goal in this year's league cup after making it four wins out of four in July's group fixtures, and again, Neilson has no reason for any major shake-ups as he looks to lead his team to seven consecutive wins this season at Parkhead.

It also looks to be a clean bill of health throughout the squad with no new injury concerns going into this one - much to the delight of the manager, whose starting XI is unlikely to surprise anyone.

Predicted Hearts team: Gordon, Souttar, Kingsley, Halkett, M Smith, Halliday, Baningime, Cochrane, Ginnelly, Mackay-Steven, Boyce.
