Hearts team v Aberdeen predicted with Josh Ginnelly and Aaron McEneff pushing for starts

After a respectable scoreline but pretty poor first half performance against Celtic last week, Robbie Neilson could make some changes against Aberdeen.

Hearts struggled to make any sort of impression in the first half against the Hoops, but were much better in the second half after the introduction of Josh Ginnelly.

Liam Boyce scored from the spot before Aaron McEneff also made an impact off the bench with a late consolation.

Expect Ginnelly to be back in the starting XI this time. He only missed out on a starting spot last weekend after suffering from illness earlier in the week.

Aaron McEneff has held talks with Neilson and sporting director Joe Savage after finding it hard to break into the side this season, but he did his chances no harm with an impressive cameo at Celtic Park.

The rest of the team shouldn't offer up any real surprises as Gary Mackay-Steven faces another of his former clubs in successive weeks.

Predicted Hearts team: Gordon, Souttar, Halkett, Kingsley, M Smith, McEneff, Haring, Cochrane, Ginnelly, Mackay-Steven, Boyce.
