Hearts team news v Aberdeen confirmed as Robbie Neilson goes full strength after Italy trip

Hearts have named their team that will face Aberdeen at Pittodrie this afternoon.

It's another match in a gruelling schedule amid Europa Conference League and Premiership involvement for Robbie Neilson's side, but this is the last one before a rare working week off before playing again. Hearts head north backed by over 1,000 fans after thousands more turned up to Italy to watch their team lose 5-1 against Fiorentina.

Victory here would provide a boost in the form of going third on goal difference . Chief executive Andrew McKinlay acknowledged the difficult run pre-match and insisted that Jim Goodwin's team would prove stern opposition but the hope for three points was still there: "More than 1,100 Hearts fans have made the trip tomorrow to Aberdeen, which is no mean feat considering the games have been coming thick and fast. To those making the journey, again, I thank you.
