Hearts star Aaron Hickey in 'look around' at Bologna amid interest from Bayern Munich and Aston Villa

Aaron Hickey could be set for a move away from Tynecastle.

The youngster has made 33 appearances for Hearts, but is believed to be a target for clubs in Italy, Germany and England.

Celtic are also reported to be keeping an eye on the 18-year-old.

BBC Scotland reporter Kheredine Idessane believes it will be "very hard" for Robbie Neilson to keep hold of Hickey and says the left-back has had a look around at Serie A side Bologna.

On Sunday afternoon he tweeted: "Top flight clubs in Germany, Italy and England want him and as he’s in the last year of his contract, he could be a snip at around £1.5m. He’s been to @BolognaFC1909en for a look around...

"Next weekend he’s planning to go to @FCBayernEN (Bayern Munich) to see what they have to offer him...and @AVFCOfficial (Aston Villa) would like him to play alongside John McGinn in the English Premier League. Great options, with @swfc (Sheffield Wednesday) interested too, and @CelticFC wanting to be kept informed as well."

Elaborating on BBC Sportsound, Idessane said Bologna are believed to be willing to meet Hearts' asking price of £1.5m.

He also expects Hickey to travel to Munich to be shown around next weekend, with the Bundesliga giants reportedly willing to make HIckey their "best-paid reserve".
