Inverness will give Hearts a guard of honour ahead of the Championship clash after the Jambos sealed the title at the weekend.
Morton were the first team to carry out the gesture in the midweek stalemate at Cappielow after Hearts were officially crowned champions.
And Inverness chief executive Scot Gardiner has revealed his players will also give the Jambos a guard of honour as it's only right the Highland side show 'maximum respect' to the worthy champions.
He told the Scotsman: “It’s the first home match for the champions. We are absolutely planning to give them a guard of honour. It’s their trophy day, isn’t it? We will follow all the traditional protocols.
"They are worthy winners. The table does not tell any lies. You can talk about performance or anything you like but they are worthy winners. We will absolutely follow tradition and give them a guard of honour.
"Trophy day is a big day for any club. It’s the last home game, they have won the league - we will follow the tradition of giving them maximum respect.”
It's a key game for Inverness who are pushing for promotion themselves, one point behind Dunfermline with two games remaining.
Caley Thistle have been unable to get the better of Robbie Neilson's men in four meetings this season, but have come close on several occasions.
And Gardiner hopes the visitors can go one better when it matters the most as they look to secure a place in the playoffs.
He added: "We have played really well this season and not beaten them. That’s why they are champions because they find ways to win. We expect another rigorous examination.
“We’ve had chances to beat them and haven’t so it will be tough but this is our last chance. Added to that, it is obviously very important for us in terms of securing a play-off place. We need to get the frustration of the game v Dundee out of our heads and get on with Saturday.”
