Hearts season tickets - 11,500 sold after general sale commenced this week

Hearts have sold over 11,500 season tickets after they were put on general sale at the start of the week.

10,500 existing season ticket holders had secured their seats at Tynecastle next season, with 1000 snapping up season tickets in the five days since then.

A disappointing league season was offset by a run to the Scottish Cup final, but despite taking the lead, Hearts eventually went down 2-1 to Celtic.

It seems that hasn’t dampened enthusiasm for the 2019/20 campaign with numbers looking encouraging at this stage of the season.

Supporters can now spread the cost of their ticket after an agreement was recently reached with a new finance partner after the previous one went out of business, causing an issue for several Scottish clubs.

Figures are in line with city rivals Hibs, who earlier today announced that over 11,000 of their existing season ticket holders had renewed over the summer, with a general sale to come.
