Hearts season ticket sales hit 6000 as fans show fantastic backing despite uncertainty

Hearts season ticket sales have now hit 6000 as supporters continue to show fantastic backing despite great uncertainty.

The Tynecastle club posted the update on social media this afternoon, while thanking fans for their support.

The Jambos still don't know what division they'll be in next season with league reconstruction plans currently on the table.

Ann Budge has submitted a proposal for a 14 team top league, and the SPFL have asked clubs to come back with their own thoughts on the plan.

With top flight clubs to return to training on Thursday, and the Premiership to get underway on the weekend August 1 and 2, they'll need to move quickly to push any changes through.

Plans for virtual season tickets were announced this week but there's still no concrete information on when fans might be allowed back in stadiums, with the start of the season to be played behind closed doors.

Sky Sports and the SPFL confirmed details of an agreement, but talks are ongoing about a similar scheme in the Championship.
