Hearts rising star Harry Cochrane tipped to have flurry of suitors after Scottish Cup star display

Harry Cochrane has been tipped to make a quick return to full-time football with the Hearts rising star set to leave Tynecastle in the summer.

The youngster rejected a contract extension as he looks to find regular first team football next season.

Cochrane has to finish up his loan spell at Montrose in the meantime and the midfielder will be hoping for a strong finish to the campaign after making his return from injury in a Scottish Cup defeat to Kilmarnock this afternoon.

And the Hearts youngster was back with a bang according to Montrose boss Stewart Petrie who was over the moon with Cochrane's performance after a month on the sidelines.

He also reckons he'll have no problem finding a new club next term.

Asked if he will be playing full-time football next season, he said: “I don’t think there is any doubt about that.

“I think if you look today that tells you everything you need to know about Harry.

“He’s been out for about a month and to come back and give us that level there is no doubt in mind that he will be back playing full-time football.

“I thought Harry was outstanding throughout the game.”
