Hearts player ratings for Scottish Cup final

Craig Levein's men gave it everything at the national stadium but couldn't prevent Celtic claiming an historic treble treble.

Here's how we rated the individual Hearts performances. Enter your own using our widget at the bottom of the page.

Zdenek Zlamal – Wasn’t forced in to many direct saves, but wiped out Edouard for the penalty. Nearly saved it. 6

Michael Smith – Did what Michael Sith always does. Solid and dependable. 7

Aaron Hickey – You’d think he’d been playing for years. Showed composure that belied his 16 years. 8

John Souttar – Won just about everything all day but as missing at Edouard’s second. 7

Christophe Berra – Like Souttar excellent until the late second Celtic goal. 7

Peter Haring – Was vital in breaking up attacks and winning possession back. Injury meant he couldn’t do a full 90. 7

Arnaud Djoum – Came on to a game in the second half when hearts saw a bit more of the ball 7

Jake Mulraney – Hearts’ biggest threat. Attacked at pace and caused Celtic problems down the left wing. 8

Sean Clare – Struggled to get in to the game generally but provided the important assist for Edwards. 6

Ryan Edwards – Didn’t do much on the ball but never stopped running and popped up with the opening goal. 7

Steven MacLean – A tough shift up in his own but battled well and linked when he could. 6

Subs

Craig Wighton – Less of an impact than Clare in the time he was on 3

Uche Ikpeazu – Shame he wasn’t fit enough to play a bigger part 4

Ollie Bozanic – Some dangerous set pieces and competed well 4
