Hearts' new dressing room: Take a look at where the players will change at Tynecastle

Tynecastle will look a little different for the Hearts players tonight as they prepare for their Betfred Cup clash against Dundee United.

For the first time, they will change in the recently completed home dressing room in the main stand at Tynecastle , and Christophe Berra (if he plays) will lead his team out of the new tunnel.

Since the stand opened back in 2017, teams have changed in the Wheatfield Stand and used the temporary tunnel there. That meant a walk across the pitch for the coaching staff and subs.

Now however, work on the new dressing rooms and tunnel is complete and will be used for the first time tonight.

Adorned with hand painted graphics and quotes, the new tunnel is steeped in the history of the club, with lettering and design done by Edinburgh company Studio Something.

The famous John Cumming quote "blood doesn't show on maroon jersey" remains in the tunnel, while "there's no other club like Hearts" features inside the changing room.

There is also an adjacent indoor warm up area for the players to use.

The Wheatfield dressing rooms used previously will now service the community pitch located behind the stand.
