Hearts have made a move to sign Bristol City defender Taylor Moore on loan, according to a report.
The centre back has been out of favour at the club and has played just once so far this season.
That came in the EFL Cup defeat to Forest Green Rovers but he did make 28 appearances for the club last season.
And former Blackpool team-mate Armand Gnanduillet appeared to hint at the move on social media last night.
The pair played together when Moore was on loan at the Seasiders and Gnanduillet shared an Instagram story that tagged his old team-mate in it with Edinburgh set as the location.
The Edinburgh Evening News report that Hearts have made enquiries over a loan deal and hope to get it done soon.
But they face competition from clubs in England with Portsmouth and Wigan both linked with moves.
Moore has had an interesting career after spending his teenage years in France and starting off at Lens.
He then returned to England with Bristol City and has had loan spells at Bury, Cheltenham, Southend and Blackpool as well as playing 59 times for the Robins.
Tynecastle boss Robbie Neilson has been looking to get a centre back in the door.
Earlier this week, the Premiership side sealed a deal for Liverpool winger Ben Woodburn.
