Hearts lineup v Raith Rovers revealed as Armand Gnanduillet makes the bench

The Hearts team tasked with exacting revenge on Raith Rovers tonight has been named.

Robbie Neilson has made three changes to the side that was defeated 3-2 by the Fifers at Tynecastle on Saturday.

Christophe Berra is out after he had to come off with a tight hamstring during the first half of Saturday's encounter.

He was replaced my Mihai Popescu, and the Romanian is in from the start tonight alongside Craig Halkett, despite suffering a head knock himself and playing on with a bandage.

Winger Josh Ginnelly returns to the starting XI in place of Elliott Frear. The on-loan Preston man started Hearts' attempted fight back three days ago with a great delivery for Liam Boyce's first goal.

There could be a debut for new number nine Armand Gnanduillet.

The powerful French striker arrived yesterday on an 18-month deal.

His international clearance came through this afternoon and is amongst the substitutes for tonight's Championship clash.

The other change sees Jamie Walker come in for Steven Nasmith.

Hearts: Gordon, Smith, Popescu, Halkett, Kingsley, Halliday, Irving, Ginnelly, Walker, Mackay-Steven, Boyce.

Subs: Stewart, White, Haring, Gnanduillet, Naismith, Frear, Henderson.
