Hearts increase non-matchday turnover by over £1million

Hearts’ non-matchday turnover for the last year topped £1m after a record breaking year for the club’s hospitality department.

The club brought their catering in-house five years ago and are now seeng the benefits, with an increase in turnover of nearly 40% over the previous 12 months that doesn’t include match generated revenue.

This is in no small part due to the opening of the new main stand at Tynecastle in 2017, which has increased opportunities for new business and income, including stadium tours and numerous meeting rooms for hire, which even include the first team dressing room.

The club’s new Skyline Lounge is due to open in June 2019 which will feature a full glass frontage, roof terrace and sate of the art audio visual equipment.

Hearts are already taking bookings for the new suite, which is being sold as an ideal wedding venue for those wishing to tie the knot at the iconic ground.

“We have had a very strong 2018/2019,” said Head of Hospitality and Catering Graham Pacitti. “Our award-winning hospitality and catering team have gained a reputation for excellent service standards, which has seen us win not only repeat business but also a large number of new clients.

"All of the team have had a part to play in our exceptional business growth, built on an ethos of continuously striving to deliver beyond client expectations.”
