Hearts will begin their Premiership return bid at home to Dundee.
The Jambos are facing up to life in the Championship after the decision to send them down was upheld in an SFA arbitration tribunal.
Hearts then face Arbroath away the week after with a trip to Raith Rovers scheduled for December 19.
Robbie Neilson's men will also take on Raith on the final day of the campaign, which takes place on Friday April 30.
A full card is scheduled for that night in what could be an entertaining evening if the title race or relegation battles go right down to the wire.
The Jambos are likely to add new faces to the squad ahead of the season with Neilson looking to make his mark on the squad.
