Hearts fans react to new third kit and it's fair to say they absolutely love it

It’s fair to say the reaction to the new Hearts third kit has been a positive one.

The Jambos launched the all-black Umbro number earlier today and it’s bound to be a big seller amongst fans if the social media reaction is anything to go by.

After a navy blue and pink affair for the previous two seasons, the Tynecastle club have changed it up with an all black kit with maroon trim.

Like the previous kit, the strip will not feature sponsors logo Save the Children on the front, as is the case on the home and away kits.

Instead, there is a sign off just below the neck on the back that reads “Pledge for Life” - a nod to the role played by the Foundation of Hearts as the club prepares for fan ownership after five years with Ann Budge at the helm.

That’s not due to happen until 2020, and until then Jambos are sure to enjoy seeing their side take to the field in the sleek new outfit that has prompted some adoring reactions online.

The new kit is available now from the Hearts Clubstore and Hearts Direct.
