Hearts fans rave over Man City youngster Ryotaro Meshino after goal against Rangers

Hearts fans have lauded the performance of Man City youngster Ryotaro Meshino after he scored their only goal of the game during the 1-1 draw against Steven Gerrard's Rangers side.

Meshino signed for City over the summer but was immediately loaned out to Hearts as his chances of featuring for the senior side were slim at best.

Manager Craig Levein was delighted to secure the services of the Japanese forward and Meshino has made an instant impact in Scotland.

The 21-year-old scored his first goal for the SPFL club during the 3-2 defeat against Motherwell in September.

Meshino was on hand to direct a rebound into the Rangers goal on the volley with a smart first-time volley.

Hearts fans were delighted with his efforts and performance in the game, taking to social media to express their delight.
